PRAYER POINT

Isaiah 5:16

"But the LORD of hosts is exalted in justice,
and the Holy God shows himself holy in righteousness."

PRAYER POINT FROM SUNDAY

In Acts 26:4-20, Paul shares how the holy, risen Christ appeared to him. Despite his zeal for God's law, Paul was not righteous (Philippians 3:1-11) and as a result, was God's enemy (Romans 5:10). He also showed that he opposed God by his persecution of the church. Yet, the holy and resurrected Christ appeared to him in the glory of a light from heaven, and instead of striking Paul dead in holy justice, the holy Christ made peace with him, sent him, and Paul obeyed.

  • How is Paul's story every Christian's story?
  • Is there any way that you are fighting God's will?
  • Reflect on how all sinners are enemies of God, worthy of holy justice (Romans 5:10, 6:23, 8:7-8).
  • How has God made peace with sinners? (see Colossians 1:19-23, Romans 4:22-5:2)
  • Has the wonder that sinners can have peace with the holy God consumed you and reoriented your life? What effects does losing sight of that wonderful reality bring in your life?

Our
Pastors, Staff, and Leadership

For
Salvation for the many that are far from God. Pray for people you know who are lost and need a personal relationship with Jesus, to accept Christ.

WHO IS YOUR ONE?

The
heart of every member/attender of Beulah to be open to God’s leading/will, in giving, in making disciples, and in going.

Our church involvement in the
Kingdom:

 1. That we would pray prayers that enlarge the Kingdom, make relationships with the intention of making disciples, have conversations that can change lives, and be available to adjust our schedule to do life with each other.

 2. For God to show us how He wants us to use the resources that Beulah already has (buildings & land) for His purpose and glory.
