PRAYER POINTS
James 4:10
"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up."
PRAYER POINT FROM SUNDAY
Reflections for Prayer and Praise from Genesis 32:22-32:
- Have you ever been brought to the end of yourself, your strength, plans, and trust in yourself such that you felt your complete neediness and dependence upon God? Are you experiencing that now, God wrestling you, that you may learn to not trust in yourself but to trust in Him alone? Are you trusting Him or still wrestling Him? Read Psalm 86.
- If it takes a wound from God that leads to a lifelong "limp" to get you to trust in Him, is it worth it to you?
- As Jacob realized his weakness and inability, was faced with who he really was (Jacob - "trickster"), and clung only to God, dependent upon Him alone for blessing, reflect on how this is how we come to God, admitting our sin, inability to save ourselves, and our need of His grace, clinging only to Him and His gospel through Christ in faith for eternal blessing. Praise Him.
SPIRITUAL NEEDS
PRAY BOLDLY FOR:
Our
Pastors, Staff, and Leadership
For
Salvation
for the many that are far from God. Pray for people you know who are lost and need a personal relationship with Jesus, to accept Christ.
WHO IS YOUR ONE?
The
heart of every member/attender of Beulah to be open to God’s leading/will, in giving, in making disciples, and in going.
Our church involvement in the
Kingdom:
1. That we would pray prayers that enlarge the Kingdom, make relationships with the intention of making disciples, have conversations that can change lives, and be available to adjust our schedule to do life with each other.
2. For God to show us how He wants us to use the resources that Beulah already has (buildings & land) for His purpose and glory.
