PRAYER POINT FROM SUNDAY
Note how God stood between Jacob and Laban's ill intent for him. How have you seen God allow an unpleasant time in your life, only to show you His providential care and grow your faith? Are you experiencing a situation like that now? Also, note how Jacob was a good shepherd. Read John 10:11-18. How is Jesus the ultimate Good Shepherd? Lastly, note how this episode contrasts Laban's impotent gods and the one, true Sovereign God. What does your life say you worship and value above God, who alone is worthy of your worship? What are your household gods that you look to for comfort, security, and pleasure? Read Psalm 115.
SPIRITUAL NEEDS
PRAY BOLDLY FOR:
Our
Pastors, Staff, and Leadership
For
Salvation
for the many that are far from God. Pray for people you know who are lost and need a personal relationship with Jesus, to accept Christ.
WHO IS YOUR ONE?
The
heart of every member/attender of Beulah to be open to God’s leading/will, in giving, in making disciples, and in going.
Our church involvement in the
Kingdom:
1. That we would pray prayers that enlarge the Kingdom, make relationships with the intention of making disciples, have conversations that can change lives, and be available to adjust our schedule to do life with each other.
2. For God to show us how He wants us to use the resources that Beulah already has (buildings & land) for His purpose and glory.
