This Week's Prayer Point

• Psalm 23:1–2 — Have you turned from sin and trusted Christ as your Shepherd? Thank Jesus for laying down His life for His sheep (John 10:9–18) and meeting your physical and spiritual needs (Matthew 6:33; Philippians 4:19; Ephesians 1:3). How do His Word (green pastures) and Spirit (calm waters) nourish, refresh, guide, and cleanse you? Ask Him for peaceful rest and satisfaction in His provision rather than unfulfilled wants.

• Psalm 23:3–4 — Ask your Shepherd to lift your downcast soul, bring you to repentance where you have wandered, and lead you in righteousness for His glory. Pray for comfort in His protecting, guiding, and disciplining presence. Praise Jesus for facing death so He could lead you through it to eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:54–57).

• Psalm 23:5–6 — Praise God for overflowing blessings in Christ that no enemy can take away. Thank Him for making you His honored guest in forever fellowship and for His indwelling Spirit. His goodness and mercy follow you through hard and easy days (Lamentations 3:22–23). How does this, as well as the assurance of dwelling with Him forever, bring you comfort?

• Who needs the Lord as their Shepherd? Pray for an opportunity to share the gospel so others may enter Christ’s fold and enjoy His salvation, provision, protection, and care (John 10:16).

Spiritual Needs

For Salvation for the many that are far from God. Pray for people you know who are lost and need a personal relationship with Jesus, to accept Christ.

The heart of every member/attender of Beulah to be open to God’s leading/will, in giving, in making disciples, and in going.
 
Our church involvement in the Kingdom:
 
 1. That we would pray prayers that enlarge the Kingdom, make relationships with the intention of making disciples, have conversations that can change lives, and be available to adjust our schedule to do life with each other. 

 2. For God to show us how He wants us to use the resources that Beulah already has (buildings & land) for His purpose and glory.

Monthly Prayer Focus

Physical Needs

Renate's daughter, Yvonne (10/06/26) is doing better.  The infection is under control.  Still recovering from the gall bladder surgery.


Carson Floyd (09/29/26) had his follow-up appt. in Summerville on Monday, 9/28. The pain he is dealing with is directly related to the procedure & he should see more gradual improvement in the next two weeks.  He will have a video visit with the dr. at that time.


Renate Creech (09/29/26) has completed her first round of chemo treatments.  Dealing with low energy, but no pain.  She will have her next round of chemo in 21 days.


Delores Coleman (10/06/26) had an appt. last week with her heart dr.  Dr. changed her medicine & referred her to a heart vascular dr.  Still having issues with low BP which is making her to have dizzy spells.  Will have a scan on her kidneys to check for a blockage.


John Hall (09/21/26) fell last Wednesday. He is doing ok. He did break his pinky finger in the fall.


Ed Koehne (9/21/26) fell and broke his hip and femur.


Benjamin, Chloe Mullins' friend's Dad (08/12/26) has Stage 4 colon cancer. Continuing his chemo treatments. His wife has dementia, so he is trying to take care of her as well.


Donna Vaughn, Ken Addison's Mom (09/29/26) is continuing her recovery from her current health issues.


Chloe Mullins' Dad (09/15/26) is currently in the hospital recovering from surgery. He is having a good deal of pain but healing nice. He had parts of his colon removed along with hot chemo. He will probably have to have another surgery or two because they couldn’t get everything during the CRS surgery. He is in Stage 3 now and the cancer that spread to his lungs is no longer there. Praise the Lord!


Mary Walker's husband, Wilson (08/26/26) has congestive heart failure. He is doing OK.


Diane Harwell (09/15/26) is moving around the house more, but still dealing with pain in knee, shoulders and neck. She is continuing with her therapy.
